We were driving through our local park complex and came across these 4 baby barn swallows. We parked about 20 feet from them and enjoyed quite a show for the next 20 minutes out our car window. They didn't seem to mind. I thought they were sooooo cute and probably took 100 photos, but won't load them all here...lol
Oh so cute!! They look very hungry!
They are cute. Great pics of mom feeding them.
I love the way they've spent all their tiny lives touching each other in the nest, so that on their first day out they only feel comfortable in physical contact with each other. Physical separation must be one of the next steps in their maturation. I wonder, if they are capable of having little bird dreams, would separation be a nightmare to them?
Synchronised Chirping! You just can't set up this kind of sensory experience on your own. You were just meant to be there. Great share.

Really great series! So much fun!
Absolutely, utterly charm overload. And I could have watched for at least 20 minutes too. Wonderful!
Wow when you said they hung around for twenty minutes I thought great for them showing off....but alas they were waiting for dinner.....great fun photo's...
Precious beyond words! What a great series.
Wonderful shots. In shot 2, it's amazing how far the mom's head goes into the baby's mouth. I like them all but especially #1.
