I think the key word here is "reportedly".

Buying cars from a US maker who produces outside USA is bad news. In 72 I bought a Pinto wagon made in Canada with German power. Found out months later and was very mad. That has been going on for a long time and needs to stop now.

So you don't want our cars sold over there.

good catch... he never threatened to stop their sales, he just said he would impose a 35% tariff on each car. LOL

I think 35% is fair to impose on foreign auto maker's. We pay way more on are imports to foreign countries.

pay attention to all the facts... he was talking about BMW, which ironically (if anyone else had commented) is a company that actually exports cars FROM the United States. They employ enough Americans to build all the BMWs sold in America, PLUS enough to build 50,000 more for sales outside our country.

So, using your logic, should we provide them with a subsidy or tax credit like we do domestic automakers?

"We pay way more on are imports to foreign countries."

In addition to the bad grammar, this doesn't even make sense. I have no idea what you are trying to say here. Is English your 2nd language?
