I attended my niece's wedding last summer at Boston's Basilica, also known as " Our Lady Of Perpetual Help". It is an old and beautiful church. Unfortunately, I only had time to squeeze a couple of shots before the ceremony began. I plan to make a stop there this summer. Do try the download.
These a very nice. Please post your photos from your up coming trip. I really like the ornate alters of the old churches.

I will. the planned Boston trip is for August and also sometime in the Fall. I'm glad you like them.
Very nice shots. You could spend hours in there and burn through several batteries. Most Bostonians know the church as Mission Church. I'm not sure a lot of natives, certainly the old guard, would know it by the name of Our Lady of Perpetual Help. The Redemptorist Order has ministered there since the church was built. One of the primary works of the Redemptorists is giving parish 'missions' thus the name of the church and the compact neighborhood known as Mission Hill. I think Ted Kennedy's funeral was there.
