We have thousands here , and they have people out shaking there eggs , what a freaking waste of roast Canada goose, let them grow
Up and then trap them , hunt them what ever , give , them to low income earners , I hunted ducks and geese when in my teens , we had it every Sunday from September to January, in hunting season , and a big freezer full to last through the summer , the left over meat was my all time faverate sandwich,
You would not believe the number of geese come flying in the summer. I always chase them of they make such a mess in the yard the noise is so much it make you crazy. The only way you can control them by shooting of a gun they will take off but come back the next day.

There are just too many. They cause all kinds of problems. The plane that ditched in the Hudson was caused by a canada goose strike.
Beautiful, Hildegard! We walked about 2 1/2 miles in the park yesterday and I got a picture of Mom & Dad Canada geese with their fluffy little babies. It's not a good shot as it was hand held and a little shaky. I may get the nerve to post it! :)
Thank you, I had several geese it came up from the lake to the front yard with some of the fluffy babies soaking wet it was raining or rather poring rain, didn't get the camera but it was fun to watch.
