That was the reading on an indoor/outdoor thermometer, and the sensor was probably in the sun. I was in the sun, too, and it was really, really hot!

on a Mac its shift +alt+8
I had 3 inches of snow and it didn't get out of the 30s at our house...
Here in So. Florida, we missed winter. Was spring from Oct to April, now starting into summer. Lows in the 80's- highs in the nineties. Am close enough ( 3 miles ) to the coast that we have a pretty much constant sea breeze. Which is great until that sea breeze turns into a hurricane. Been thru plenty of those since 1963.
I just use * for degrees...the Alt stuff doesn't do anything on my laptop. It will be in the low 90's here in Southern Oregon by Mon-Tues. I am startinting to prefer Winter!
