If you live in the Midwest, this may be a normal summer. The rest of the country will have hotter than usual weather this summer. My thermometer showed 108° yesterday.

Yeah, we alwayhs seem to get hit with that. It will be cold and then get very hot before we have a chance to adjust.

You can get the ° symbol by holding down the Alt key and entering 248 on the number pad. Also, £ with Alt-156. Type Alt- combinations just too what you get.

That was the reading on an indoor/outdoor thermometer, and the sensor was probably in the sun. I was in the sun, too, and it was really, really hot!

Here in So. Florida, we missed winter. Was spring from Oct to April, now starting into summer. Lows in the 80's- highs in the nineties. Am close enough ( 3 miles ) to the coast that we have a pretty much constant sea breeze. Which is great until that sea breeze turns into a hurricane. Been thru plenty of those since 1963.

I just use * for degrees...the Alt stuff doesn't do anything on my laptop. It will be in the low 90's here in Southern Oregon by Mon-Tues. I am startinting to prefer Winter!
