I like the idea of lights over a busy airport... or even catching with a telephoto lens an airplane that is landing or departing (but I´m afraid that they might think I´m trying to shoot down a plane.

Another idea which has been done in the past (the 60s come to mind), is to create a "groovy" look (sorry, I was born in 51) by zooming the lens while the shutter is open. It's real cool, man. (I just can't help myself).

It is really cool. Of course it was popular back then because that's all a lot of the zooms did well.

I´m in a project of long exposure photography and every month we need to present 3 photos for a filter of the project. I´m counting on some of you to give me some great ideas of pictures that will really be different and creative. I´m a little square and need some help in creativity. I´m adding one of the photos that I took to the last filter and it was accepted.

First technique, then creativity.

Second curtain flash synchronization can be fun. For example, I once took a photo of a snail "streaking " across the table with a 30 second exposure and second curtain flash. My 70D even computed the exposure correctly!

I have a ND 15.6 stop filter... the one that I used for the Farris Wheel. So I´m going to head to a busy Intersection during the day and get it completely empty.

How about a 90 second selfy? It will show what you can keep still and what you can't.
