Cutting, sanding, polishing some beer bottles from one of our local breweries ... turns them into cool goblets ... a must-have for my man-cave :) ... I have also done Heinekens, Corona, Grey Goose, Singha Beer (who knows that one?? :) ), small ginger ale bottles ... takes me about an hour per goblet and helps me relieve my stress :)

Great work

Now that is what I call a very constructive hobby. You, sir, are making the world a better place. How about a tutorial?

The goblets are really clever, well done. The pictures are great as well. I remember Singha from Thailand in the mid 60s.

Phil. Those are wonderful! Is there a possibility I could purchase one? I have a good friend that does something remotely similar and I mean really remote.

sure Dave ... but I am here in Vancouver BC - how to ship to you without it getting busted?? Why not make your own - it's very therapeutic :) - I made a video on how to cut a bottle almost foolproof every time https://vimeo.com/215350952 - you will need a glass cutter to score a mark on the bottle (I bought a bottle cutter - but one doesn't need to go to that expense I don't think) ... then I used E6000 adhesive to attach the neck to the base ... easy (as they say in the classics) :) - let me know if you do it and post a pic :)

oh - and also you will need to sand the cut on both pieces - 60 grit sandpaper, then 150 grit, and then polish it up with 180 or 220 water paper :)

Very Good. How do you dispose of the liquid in the Bottles?

LOL - thanks :) ... because I am teetotal - my co-workers kindly bring me their empties - or if I am at the recycle depot and I see some potential workable bottles I will offer the guy bringing them in - double the 10c return :)
