Thank you. I thought that it was good a little brighter than darker. I was playing with the exposure, and I settled on this. Maybe it could go down a bit.

A beautiful photo, but you asked for comments, so here is mine. The only change I would make to this otherwise excellent and very appealing image would be to clone out the yellow bud extending down to the lower right. To me it seems to be a distraction.

Flash. I used a yongnuo flash off camera. It is manual, so it takes a bit to get used to.

You know, I thought of that, but I decided that it gave a little more to the photo. Showing the flower as a bud.
But you may be right.

I like the way the yellow bud pulls the eye around the photo up to the yellow in the top buds. Maybe you could just reduce the vibrancy of the yellow.
