I would guess you still had Auto ISO set. I would set the d7200 to ISO100 for what you are doing in the daylight.
No, that is not normal. Are you sure you are not in "A" for aperture mode? What makes you think it is changing shutter speed?
I don't know if the shutter speed changed or not, but, the shutter speed reading showed it changed

Can you post two sequential photos where the shutter changed? We can review the exif data and see what's going on..
Thank to all, and, God bless just confirmed what my Ph.D. Wife said I am a dumb a------I have to program the camera to read what manual lens Iam using again thanks.P.S. i paid for her to get 2 masters, and, dr. So yep Iam a dumb a----
The way this was written it hard to tell just what you problem is.
Thanks you are right . l did'nt. Know how to phase question still don't .The shutter. Speed was set on one setting, but, once the shot was taken it showed a completed different reading on the info screens.
Butch; if you are in manual mode, nothing should change unless you change it. If you are in auto ISO, that would change, but only that to my knowledge. Your Nikon will shoot with just about every Nikon lens made, however, it may not auto focus. You would have to do that manually as well. Hope this helps!
Perhaps that was really the sun and not the moon and you stared at it too long.

Ok, I found someone with a darker complexion in a checkout line and I asked him "What is your mama". I must of asked him 6 or 7 times. He didn't say anything so I spoke louder and he just screamed back a lot of things in spanish I didn't understand. I left without my groceries because I think he was fixin to hit me.
