Up for sale is a Canon 1D Mark III camera. Camera has less than 30K actuations. The camera was recently given an 8+ to 9 condition by Roberts Camera, Carmel, Indiana. You will NOT be disappointed with the camera. My grandkids have grown up and are not participating in team sports, anymore. I need to get a smaller, lighter digital SLR. Cost is $699.00 including shipping. An extra battery, charger, cord, and instruction manual are included. Camera will be packed in original box. Did I say that the camera was in AMAZING condition - cosmetically and mechanically! Serious buyers only. No International buyers. Email me at trsteiner1949@comcast.net
Thanks for your consideration. Terry Steiner
I do not know this seller from Adam, but I do know this camera. I own two, although one is a parts camera. I also own a 1Ds, and I am currently putting away a little each month for a 1Ds Mark lll.
If you are like me, and take pictures, and have no need for a camera with video. This is the camera for you.
Blazing fast at 10 frames a second. The shutter is built to last for 300,000 shots. that is just an insane amount. The bodies are built like tanks and weather sealed. With a fully charged battery, I have never ever run out of battery power on a shoot, even after 2 days shooting.
It may not have as many mega pixels as the new cameras do, but unless you are printing a billboard, I will put my prints up against anyones.
Much has been said/written about this cameras problem with auto focus. I will tell you right now, I have never had a issue with that. If I have a out of focus shot it is my fault not the cameras.
Once you go with a pro body, I don't know how you could go back to anything else. My longest lens is a 300 mm f/4 prime. I have a 1.4 extender. With the 1D body it just balances perfectly for me. I posted a few shots of some eagles and a nice one of a elk on this site, using this combination, all hand held.
I would recommend this camera to anyone. and no, I am not getting a kickback from this seller. All I am trying to do is steer someone in the right direction, and convince them this is the right camera to own. Honestly if mine was broken I would buy this one
thanks for your recommendation. and no, I have not had any problems w/ autofocus. My lenses used on the camera are: 85mm mark I w/ metal mount, 24 - 70 mark II L, 100mm macro, and 135mm L. Terry
You are welcome. I just really love this camera. I hope that whoever buys it, enjoys it as much as I do. Tom
Is this a gray market camera? Will you except PayPal? I will pay fees.

I own 2 of these cameras I think you left out one of the big selling points.
This camera will auto focus a F8 I use mine mostly for eagles I have a 600mm F4 L series lens with a 1.4 extender giving me 840mm add the 1.3 crop factor and it is 1092mm and I still have auto focus.
If someone shoots wildlife a camera like this is a must have.
