So Frustrating

I'm walking around snapping pictures with my fancy Sony A55, and my daughter takes this amazing picture with her iPhone. I'm blown away by the simplicity of it and the juxtaposition.Which one do you like better? Although I'm not a big fan of B&W, I think it works better than the original. What do you think?

After I posted them I went in and used lens correction in PS6 to straighten out the top and make it look nicer. A small fix but I think it improves it.

You could even clone out top so it matches the rug.

I tried both the clone tool and the Content Aware Fill tool and neither of them did as good a job as I wanted, so I just left it in. I probably should mess with it a little more.

Maybe the "Freeze function" (tool in the liquify filter array) to freeze the shoes and use the warp tool to extend the rug. Then crop back to size.
