I liked Nova Scotia in particular.
My contribution to the Challenge "Trails"....
RR mentioned the trails built on Railroad right of ways. The Cowboy Trail in Nebraska is built on abandoned rail road lines. One goes from Norfolk, NE to
O'Neill. Plans are to expand it even more! I'll have to get out there for a photo or 2!

#2 and #3 look challenging.
All truly nice shots.
Fan of landscapes, nice shots !
This path wound through the woods behind a lodge in Alaska. It was a nice, serene path that actually went for a ways and had wild flowers and other interesting vegetation. Nothing really special except that before we embarked we were cautioned about the possibility of encountering wildlife that may eat humans if the opportunity or need arose. My wife really enjoyed the walk. She somehow labors under the assumption that had we encountered such a creature that I, as her man, would be able to protect her. I, on the other hand, spent much of the walk glancing side to side and saying "Ho Bear, Ho Bear" loudly. Somehow I still enjoyed the hike.

Maybe they thought we were lost?
Just got back from touring 12 Iris Gardens in North Carolina
These are my snowshoe trails, which serve for a few extra things such as logging and relaxing in nature. I'll stop going there soon and return in the early autumn....
Going back down. This trail is actually a few miles long but much easier done on snowshoes
