Olympus OM-D eye cup

Can anyone tell me where to get the eyecup for an OM-D EM10? I've contacted Olympus for a replacement and I'm told the eyecup is "no longer available". Amazon sent me a Chinese eyecup that was worthless, wrong size and configuration. Why do eyecups keep falling off camera's?

The eye cups made by Hoodman for my Canon camera have been fine and can't fall off. The rubber can tear but that is very rare.

I have the same camera but my eye piece has never fell off, perhaps your'e not fitting it correctly.
Ensure you eyepiece is properly located into the recesses of the view finder all the way round.

Thank you. When (if) I can find a new eyecup I'll ensure it is seated properly.

I have the OMD EM10 Mkii version of the camera and recently lost my eyecup. Was able to get a replacement at www.getolympus.ca (Canadian Olympus website). As your EM10 and my EM10 Mkii are very similar maybe you could retro fit the EM10 Mkii eyecup to your EM10. As to why the eyecups fall off the camera, good question! In my case the eyecup got caught in a binocular strap I was wearing and was "pulled off" the camera and into a river below me. My replacement eyecup is now "crazy glued" onto my camera!
I wish you the best of luck finding a compatible eyecup.

That happened to my EM5 repeatedly. I have the stock eye cup and a larger rubber eye cup that I would be happy to give to you if you think they might fit.

Thanks to all for your offers. Ain't it sad that today in order to solve a problem the answer is duck tape or crazy glue. I love it!!

If there is an Olympus retailer in your area, I suggest you go there. They may have one in stock, and they definitely have clout with Olympus USA. I've had no such trouble with my OM-D EM 10.

The only store I can think of is Best Buy.

I got my Olympus replacement eye cup from B&H after losing the first one. I've read of people supergluing them to the camera but I don't want to do that. I've had this replacement about 3 years and it hasn't come off.
