The batter and the ball shot. The foul ball came right at me, well a couple of feet away.

Action, Faces, Ball, Tack Sharp, Good Composition and Good separation from the back round. You nailed them! The only suggestion I would make is try lightening the shadow from the brim of the cap in the second one in post if possible. The only thing that would improve that one is seeing the eyes. I know with baseball caps that is not always possible and you may have already tried. This is not meant as a criticism They are awesome! I wish I could get shots like that. Thank you for sharing

Your right Jaackil about the shadows under the cap. I guess I could have lighten that area a bit using the dodge tool in Photoshop cs6.

I run into the same problem shooting lacrosse. It is the nature of the beast. The only way to avoid it is to run on the feild have the player hold that pose while you set up a fill flash and take the shot 😀😀😀. There are a number of ways to do it. Lightroom's adjustment brushes will also do it. It dosent always work for every situation either but it is a quick and easy fix it's always worth a try. If it dosent work that shot is still a keeper!

Any suggestions using Photoshop cs6? Sometimes I go into shadows/highlights. It's rough either way. Dodge or shadows adjustment.
