Spurred on by the depth of post processing competence that is time and time again demonstrated by the residents in the For Your Consideration Section, I thought that I might try my hand at what I have learned from them by making this picture.

Your only a whisker or two behind the originator of that pic young Rob. I cannot tell you how glad I was to see you joining in the latest craze/fun and experimenting with different ways to change the mood of this excellent image(spoken in tones reminiscent of a breathless schoolgirl).
To really compete you should daub that texture on a bit thicker and tell everyone that its all so much fun

I contemplated hanging the pic in the smoke of a roasting overcoat then liberally fingering the carefully prepared surface as it appears the FYC moderator must have done in the making of his mess but instead decided to coat the surface liberally with drivel and have my pet goat deliver the coup de grĂ¢ce with its stubbly little chinny chin chin.
Well its certainly different and in a way I quite like it.
It has that stressed look about it.
Burr, out all night taking astro photos of the stars... at 2AM we wonder how many bodies are burried in the soil floor of this old barn. Your photo speaks many stories.
What program, what was the original photo reference. Software has allowed us to turn simple ho-hum photos into works of art and adventure. I like the effect of this photo Thank you Winterrose.

Glad to see you back. Now, could we please see some your uninfluenced work.
Really beautiful, winterrose!
