You may want to give a good look at my bodypod/facial stabilizers for use with large/heavy 500. The bodypod has been a key to my successes for the last 3 years. I developed it using the 300 2.8 W/2X.

I have the 5DIII. I'm wondering if the IV is all that much better in the larger scheme of things. The 5DIII was benchmark for years and is still holding a good price, I notice. The IV is faster. Don't care, not shooting sports. The sensor has more pixels. Well, the 1Ds are still under 20. What am I missing? I think I'd probably get the 7DII for a second body.

I think I know that arrangement of yours (I go back a few years on this forum) and I've always admired it. Is it marketed?
