Looking at the photo in post, I wonder if I had moved a bit to the left or to the right would have made for better composition. Those taller flowers in the middle bother me a bit...but it may just be me.

Well, now that you mention it
They do block our view of the water, but it's a pretty spring scene nonetheless. In future, if you have time and ability to explore more angles, "work the scene," you may discover something you like even better than your first impression.

I would photoshop-out the tallest flowers on the right to see if that would make the picture better.
Beautiful shot, allysa! The tall flowers in the middle don't bother me at all!

Thanks guys for your input. I am still relatively new to the game, but I like to think I am doing ok. I still have tons to learn, but every time I get out with my camera, it is a chance to try something new, and learn more about the process. Someday, I might actually know what all the settings on my camera do. :) (joking)
