Just how well should you take care of that $2,000 camera?

Well Jerry I agree with the writer.
I usually just put a plastic grocery bag over my my camera to minimize the amount of rain hitting it while im not shooting, when I get back to the car I dry it off with a towel the make sure its dry before opening the card bay or removing the lens. Its a tool and I use it !!!!!!

Probably just another business expense that will be deducted. I don't have that option.

Its not a business for me just a very serious hobby. Nothing to deduct.

I still remember that article you posted a while back, on a Nikon D3300 that took a physical beating, while traveling thousands of miles without any care whatsoever. And it just kept taking photos.

I had, sometime back, a lens on my camera that got swatted by a tiger.
I had bought insurance coverage on the lens and had it repaired free.
