Came back from a walk and took a picture of a Pine Cone and came up with the second picture with some P.P. in Photoshop Elements and Spektrel Art. Your comments would be appreciated............Mike

Don't see too many "pine cones" here in Hawaii. Really do like your 2nd photo with your PP additions. Mahalo for sharing.
I'm sorry; I'm a traditionalist, the first one for me.
From nothing photo to a something photo. Viva PP

Just a Pine cone. I think not. It is what you create from Nothing.

Can you get Glow to use a colour other than blue? It looks a bit out of place with this particular subject.

The blue is built into the program, however it can be lessened or eliminated............Mike
But a very artsy pinecone...

You can change the blue glow color somewhat by using a hue/saturation layer, clicking on the little hand, then clicking on the color that you want to change. You can then use the sliders to change the saturation, lightness, and hue of that particular color, but it is somewhat limited in what color you can change it to. Fun to play with though. Here is a sample with the hue/sat later applied to the "glow cone" above.
