Personally, I lean toward the first one. It's cleaner than #2 and the word "CAPTURED" grabs attention. The second one is too busy, as it stands. Removing the watermark would greatly improve #2, IMHO.

my phone # is not on it, and are you saying a drone is a bad thing to place on there? I do drone photography as a service with my photography.

Yeah, I don't know where he was coming from with that statement. That said probably the second one does more for me but both are good.

I'm merely suggesting that drones are a controversial topic, and some people might react negatively if it is a very obvious part of your logo.
…and some people will react positively if they are looking for a photographer that does drone photography. Having the drone in your logo will help attract the clientele you are looking for.

I had a pro create a logo for me, which one do you like, and why? and would you change anything in it.

After reading the exchanges I'm hesitant to say anything. Right-off, what is the point of a business card with no contact information? What is someone supposed to do with the card after they receive it? Look you up with Google? At least put an email or cell number or web address on it. It should be fairly obvious why not a mailing address or home phone.

First version: I too feel the lettering for "Captured Moments" should be the same size, as (two lines, all centered)

[Camera Graphic]
CAPTURED MOMENTS
BY JAMES
[Cell Number or Email or Web Address]

Second version: Perhaps I too have too vivid an imagination. The Drone with that business name, Captured Moments, somehow the combination bothers me too. Perhaps implying "Captured {Innocent} Moments". Some people (non-photographers) my think "military drone attacks of civilians", "drone surveillance in general", or worse yet "drone filming of naked children in their back yards". Might the name "Captured Events", "Air Photography", "Photography By Air" be safer? Don't use "Aero-photography" for that is a term. Again, what is with no contact information, would you always have the time to scribble on the back of your cards? #2 looks good.

I'd use the second one ...
but personally I would make these changes...
Place a small camera on the right side like you have under the drone...
My wording would be like this ....

Captured Moments
Photography by
James

I like the second one - the drone implied that you're up-to date. I would change the logo a bit. Take the words Captured Moments and make them into an arch, with the camera / drone under the arch. Your name would then go at the bottom like it is now. This will emphasize the "capture" and make the logo more cohesive, and perhaps a little more unique. Looks a little too plain to me as it is. Brighten up the color - too drab as shown. Add your contact information.

If you want to emphasize the point that you do both regular photography and drone photography, arch the text, then put a camera on one side and the drone on the other.

Drone and camera artwork is a nice graphic.

I'm going to be different!. I like the top one. It's crisp and it stands out well. However, I'd take a look at the following changes. I'd move the "CAPTURED" above the camera, and leave "Moments" below it but enlarged to the same size and font as "captured". "By James" below Moments in the size and font it is now.

This is not a business card, it is a logo. It will probably wind up on a business card once the OP decides which logo to go with.

Drone and camera artwork is a nice graphic. Keep that and layout a proper business card and stationery.

The one with the drone. I think the camera is the right size for the drone.

Personally, I like the first one but the way I interpret what I see is that the first one is traditional photography and the second is drone photography. If, as you mentioned, you put both the DSLR and the drone on the logo, it would encompass both explicitly. As somebody pointed out previously, the 'Moments' of the first graphic should be on the same line as the 'Captured' unless its not part of the full name.

Not sure how the average consumer would interpret the drone without the DSLR camera image as well but if I were looking for a photographer for my indoor event, I would pass right by the second logo with the assumption that you were exclusively a drone photographer.

Hope this helps
