WaJu Productions in action. Setting up for a church video shoot. Four cameras. How would you like to be sitting in that hot seat? This posed a lot of problems that are shared with still photography. Particularly portraits. Mixed lighting, camera angles, lighting angles, light bouncing off of non-white walls, and reflections from the glass bookcase doors. Video and still photography are much alike. It's all about solving problems to get the best shots. Added to the environmental challenges, I had four camera operators, and four subjects who where nervous about speaking on camera. We won't even talk about syncing up the recorded audio with the four videos, and getting it all edited. It was fun, but a lot like herding cats. I think stills are easier

Sort of like trying to get everyone at weddings and events herded for group shots, looking where you want them to look, "Wait, I have to go to the bathroom" and little kids and crying babies.....challenges for sure no matter if video or stills I am thinking.
