Thank you all for your comments. More that 800 people, most of them members, had seen this topic. On of those is a partially color-blind fellow member. He left me a very positive private message that empower me to continue posting articles that could be unrelevant for the mayority, but if the info help just one member, that is enough for me.
OMG
Why not just send that one person a private message?

Jesus Christ, I'm really thinking to quit from this forum.

It is getting rather prickly and rude. Cheers.
The fact is no one knows how other people see colors. I often see black as green or blue in certain types of light. My wife only sees black. But how do we know what she sees as black I don't see as red? That's one of the reason I don't worry about color correction on my monitor, which has auto white balance. If I photograph a cd cover and it looks the same in my hand as it does on the screen, I am happy. Of course I don't know what anyone else's monitor is calibrated to, or how they see the colors.
I don't print anything. If I did, I would probably want to see the same colors in the print as I do on the monitor, and if I didn't would want to calibrate the monitor to be able to accurately preview a print. I sometime see pictures on line where the sky looks greenish to me. Maybe it looks blue to the poster. Maybe what I would see as a blue sky looks purple to them. There's no way to know.
