Just some of the tracks Ive seen while out and about. Anyone that has tracks photos feel free to add them here.
Nice collection Hal. Watch us get lectured about standing on RR tracks to take photographs. Thanks for the invite.

Can't get in any trouble on these tracks as they have been out of service for twenty years...so here goes!
Hal, I don't have a contribution at the moment but I love all your tracks. Strange, but railroad tracks seem to have a strong fascination for a lot of people. Maybe it is the mystery and romance of where they have been and where the are going. Where we live we can hear trains several times a day in the distance and I always take a moment to list.

Thank you all for looking.
I wasn't standing between the rails on this one, rail broke and came up thru the bottom of the car, if you look close you can see the angle bars....thanks for the invite Hal, always love the rail pictures.....

Great B&W capture Bob... Awesome
Nice track shots Hal. Will add some I have when I get on my other PC.
Hi Hal, Great topic and thanks for the invitation to join in. I have enjoyed all the pictures submitted so far, must admit my favorite so far is the B&W, looks like Ansel could have taken it.
Here's a few of mine. So many to choose from. The first one shows that snowmobiles have to keep off the tracks too! The second one is the Selkirk yard view of the hump- taken in 2007 before they closed off the road to our favorite vantage point. The third one is the abandoned track in Sabattis. This is the rail line that is in limbo still I believe over whether to tear it up for a hiking trail or let it become a tourist rail line. Having endured a swarm of mosquitoes just jumping out of the car for a minute to take these pics I would not want to spend any time hiking this trail.

Like old, run-down buildings, rr tracks tend to make excellent subjects.
