These were taken at the Desert Botanical Garden in Phoenix. They recently opened a butterfly pavilion there. Hope you like them. Any comments welcome. Thanks.

Good that you took advantage of the butterfly pavilion. I particularly like #2.

Nice images. If you have the chance again, I would prefer to have more of the flower for context.

I was in PHX late last year and toured the Botanical Gardens. It is a really nice exhibition of the desert flora. The butterfly exhibit wasn't open when I was there but I will hopefully being visiting again late Summer and will once again visit the gardens.

(I suggest you eat lunch before touring the garden as a hamburger at Gertrude's Restaurant is $18.00)

I pack a lunch with a gallon of ice tea, and eat it inside the cafe, no problem. I arrive at opening time, as the 'misting' (for tropical butterflies) occurs more frequently as the day grows warmer. The high-pressure mist from overhead piping is like a light fog, obscuring photography for a short time, and creating a slightly humid atmosphere within the structure.
