The NY Times published an article about Jewish Photographer who documented a Nazi-Controlled Ghetto. I wonder what camera he used. He buried the film in canisters and retrieved them later.
The photos that survived are exhibited at Museum of Fine Arts in Boston through July 30.

Many of the images show 35mm sprocket holes, so maybe he used a Leica or Contax? Haunting images.

Thanks for posting - it lightens the heart when someone creates memories for others. Appreciate the article and the backstory as well.

Having known several Holocaust survivors, it is important for the world to see these images.

Never Forget. Work like this helps give understanding and meaning to that powerful slogan.

Yet, there is one country that touts the Holicost as a Myth!
I admire this man and his determination to document history as well as General Dwight Eisenhower to grab any and all cameras and photograph as many as you can as there will always be doubters!

Thanks for sharing the link!

Haunting images - especially when you can see family resemblances. Thanks so much for posting.
