I'm a beginner and just purchased a Nikon D3300 with the kit 18-55mm lens and also have the Nikon 55-300mm. I'm thinking about getting a Tamron 18-200mm to replace both.
Please advise

I purchased one for my girlfriend and she loves it. One lens that pretty much does it all.
If I'may not driving this is the lens
I carry with me 1 lens does all.
Stick with Nikon lenses. If not, we'll hear you complaining here later.

That's not strictly true, there are several companies that make lenses that are just as good. For example, the Sigma Art lenses are superb. Besides, Nikon has produced quite a lot of crap lenses themselves, as have Canon, Sony and all the rest. Just because it's a name-brand lens doesn't necessarily equate to excellence.
True, but it isn't always a quality issue but an eventual compatibility issue.

Eventual meaning how long? I have some third party lenses that are 12 years old and have had no issues on any of my four bodies purchased over a 5 year period.
I have tamron 18-270 for 6 years. Works great
Using Nikon cameras for 40 years but over the last ten have used Tokina 12-24, Tamron 90mm macro and a 16-300 Tamron and love them all. Buy what you can afford and go out and shoot great photos. That's what it's all about.

Get the Nikon 18-200 VRII, I have over 20 Nikon lenses and this is one of my all time favorites. And, many Nikon folks believe it is one of the sharpest Nikon Zoom lens produced.

I would stick with the lenses you have. The D3300 is a very good entry level DSLR. I would prefer it over the newer D3400. If you want to add a prime lens, I recommend the inexpensive Nikon 50mm f1.8. Great for close up outdoor sports.
