I live in Texas but have kin folks in Idaho. Every time I see the Snake it brings back memories of me when I was a kid & my cousin taught me how to water ski on the Snake River. Thanks for sharing.

My cousins used to farm alongside the Snake River near Clarkston WA. and Lewiston ID. To reach the river, you descended about 2 miles of switchbacks from the plateau above. In the 50's, when we drove the old Buick back up from the river to the top, the car always overheated and we'd have to carry water and rest every so often. But the scenery was well worth it and so were the cousins!
