While out on the last foggy morning here in the Cincinnati area. I was trying to capture some unique images that may be out of my norm and as I hardly delete any files for the fact I always come back to later in an attempt to make something out of nothing work. Not sure if this appeals to most as something or nothing. Comments and opinions on the matter would be greatly appreciated. FYC

Negative black and shadow sliders with positive white slider made it more interesting for me Mr. Chinn. I'm still on the fence about straightening....

Hi Dave,
I have to admit that, it, being the way it is right now, the image just doesn't do anything for me. Perhaps it is too early for me to 'see' anything special in this image, but that is my honest opinion as of right now. Perhaps it would be a good one to keep for a composite, and would be a superb choice for one of your creative and innovative works of art! I'm sure you may eventually use it and this image will be an extremely valid component of a composite image!
Best Regards,
Tom

Thanks for commenting Frank !!! The leveling is an issue while I think the various angles of the beams causes an optical illusion. An attempt was made to level, but only made worse. I also tried the negative black & shadows sliders along with positive white slider. I can see where that would be acceptable, but it change the contrast while reducing the fog affect, so I decided to leave as is. However, in all honesty, this image is on the border for me. I did think it was a rather interesting shot but over all nothing that leaves one to write home about, LOL !!! Thanks again, I do appreciate the comments.

Thanks for your honesty Tom, I appreciate it. Somewhere down the road it may be used as a composite but at the moment can't seem to think of anything. One reason I keep most of my files anyway, future projects !!!

The first thing I thought about was how infrequently I see uniformly gray fog like this. Mine is patchy or thick and dark. I appreciate the natural feel (never thought about the angle of the structure; that seems to fit as-is), but I do admit to wishing for a bit more drama
I think a lot has to do with the person. If leaning over the railing, or wearing a distinctive hat maybe? Or if there were a flock of birds on the railings...I guess I just need something a tiny bit more than captured here.

Thank you Linda for commenting on this unsettling image. I wish I had more to offer with this one, but unfortunately I don't. As Tom suggested a future composite could be in the works, but it took two years for the last one to come together, so who knows?
