Here is some interesting "authorized" graffiti that is in a certain downtown alley. We saw this on our spring trip. Pretty interesting stuff, painted with permission of the city. John
You managed to capture the only "culture" available in Rapid City.

Nice shots.
Thanx jaymatt. Interesting city in the center of so many beautiful scenic locations-lots of wildlife potential. We spent five days there and did not see everything. I would highly recommend it as a vacation destination for photographers. Teddy Roosevelt Nat. Park is only a few hours north in North Dakota-lots of animal life there as well, including snakes. This big guy was not happy, and cocked for action!

Thanx DeanS, We had a great trip to the Black Hills and surrounding area, even went to the annual Buffalo roundup, around 1300 critters--a real sight to see.
Nice shots of the murals, John! We have some nice ones here in Philly, too.

Forgive the image, but this is how we mow the back 40 in Texas

Hoping the OP will forgive the post - - I actually LIKE snakes (& spiders), but the poisonous ones deserve a quick trip to the underworld
Black Widows and Brown Recluses in particular deserve a roasty toasty place in Hades
