Welcome and thanks for your service. I retired in 1975 USAF. I had many trips to Utapao as a crew member (boom operator KC-135). Enjoy as there are lots of good folks here on this site.

Welcome and thanks for your service to our country. I have a similar story. Out of Charlie Company in the Second Division, I was chosen to be Regimental PX Officer in Korea. We had Samoca cameras available in the PX and I felt it was my duty to check them out. Then I was hooked on photography. I bought the camera of the year a few years ago, a Nikon D70S and an 18-200 VR II lens. Admirers brag on my photography, but of course it is that camera and that lens that deserve all the credit.

Same here . . . Retired fm AF in 96 . . . Got into photography back in 76 on Guam . . . After a few years I just changed to point & shoot digital, then after my second retirement a couple of years ago . . . Started up again with DSLR . . .
