Excellent image of a beautiful model. In addition to strong backlight you either used a reflector or kicker to highlight frontal details, yes?
Don't forget that Rob used a bit "strong backlight" to "highlight frontal details" as well... and just the right amount. It is attention to these small details that really makes a big difference in the final outcome.

So it had to include a wraparound source of backlight, eh?
One of, if not, your best!
Thanks for sharing.
Nice shot, Rob. Amelia is a keeper.

sorry to say, I dontlike this one. I don't know why, I cant put my finger on it, but Im just not a fan. Now thats NOT saying I can do better because I cant... Maybe too much back lighting, Im not sure..
Obviously everybody else does like it. Just my 2 cents and usually thats all my opinion is worth, just dont be mad at me.
I like the way the shadows sculpture her shape.
Regarding lighting in this image. Very simple set up. One Einstein strobe light with a reflector, a white bed sheet, two white foam board, stand and two clips.
Turn Einstein strobe light on, Set stand up, hang white sheet on the stand, use clips to hold the sheet on the stand. Place the sheet in front of the Einstein strobe light, I placed Amelia in front of the sheet and place the white foam boards to the model's left & right. Had Amelia posed for final outcome.
