Been a while since I've had a lens that could reach out and touch the moon...shot through the trees.
EM1ii 300mm f5.6 1/640s, no crop.

and one earlier in the evening...shot in high rez mode, just to see if it would work with the moon...had to crop it down to the native file size in order to get it to upload here...It's almost like having a digital zoom.

forgot to mention...the first one is handheld, the second one is on a tripod (due to high rez mode).

Beautiful Clint!
I personally like images that are as close as the subject appears to the naked eye.
Very sharp images.

Welcome to the dark corner of UHH.

Very nice shot. I live the artistic nature of the shot.

So, LR just updated it's support for High Rez Mode...here's the RAW version Cropped down from full rez (80mpx 10368 x 7776) to normal native size (20mpx 5184 x 3888). This is going to be super handy.

I have to agree with Europa, I prefer the first shot as well.
All are quite good however.
Welcome to the group.
The other Jim.
