Taken yesterday on a drive up to Logan, Utah. I have driven by this barn many times and always intended to take a picture...yesterday was the day!

Interesting! Nice bit of history.
Note the last content, alcohol! LoL Many elixers back then used it and from what I was told by some older people that actually used things like that, the alcohol was only added to, (and I remember the quote), "To cover the bitter taste".

Thank You...I understand if it didn't have alcohol it didn't sell. This is what my grandfather in No. Dakota told me when visiting one summer and a "drummer" stopped by his farm.

Terrific photo of the barn, and I enjoyed reading about Dr Pierce's elixir. If there had been an FDA in those days, a lot of those women probably would not have been able to get the relief they needed.
