Taking a picture is easy. Just push the button. Capturing the moment - or capturing anything else - is more difficult.

I also wonder: What's the difference between an orange?

You can take a picture of anything at any time. I would say a "moment" has meaning. A baby's first step, the look on your daughters face as she goes to her first prom. Stuff like that.

I've been studying Monet. He would try again and again to capture the impression of one moment in terms of lighting, color, form, etc. Thus dozens of paintings of Rouen Cathedral, his lily pond, etc. In a sense photography is an attempt to capture such a moment. Thus, perhaps, art.

Inhaling + exhaling = breathing!
There will be no breathing if you take away either inhaling or exhaling!

None. I look at the question as taking a picture versus making a picture. Either way can result in a piece of art. But I could be wrong too.

Every picture captures a moment, just some of those moments have more impact than others.
