This is the first time we saw Spookie our black cat. She's in the middle, at our friends house. We got her from them. I didn't want anymore animals, but just couldn't resist that look. She was about a month or so old. Not the best picture.

Welcome to Day 167:) Today it's all about Pet Portraits .. now I realize not everybody has a pet ..but I'd be willing to bet your friends and family do or your neighbor .. or the people at the local park. Just do the best you can .. and by the way we will count the birds that come to eat in your back yard. For my part I decided to attempt to get the heathens to pose .... Not going to happen lol .. ever !!
So I got them in action the best I could. I had to take about 125 photos to only manage to get 1 decent one of each of them. So here are a few examples to get us started. I look forward to seeing what y'all come up with.

I'm not a pet person, I had a cat once but the X took him. I can tell you a story about a cute little "Baby Snake" my lady friend found at the Zoo.
WARNING: This story may cause uncontrollable laughter :-P
Read at your own risk.
This little baby was cross eyes as it hatched out of the egg.
A little boy was bothering her, so she hid in a log.
But her Mommy Snake caught him and ate him.
She needed protection so made friends with the Gorilla.
And a RHINO.
She was so adorable that my friend adopted her, and a baby elephant.
Her cat wasn't so excited about another animal in the house.
But her puppy was so excited, he tried to teach her a new trick, called the nose lick.

Wonderful photo - thanks for joining us
Not exactly pets, as they are too wild to get close enough to pet, but since my sister has been putting out some dry cat food and keeping some bowls of water around, they have NOT had a mouse problem around their large place on the edge of town!! Most everyone else around seems to have mice at some point, but not when these cats are around!!
