If you want your name visible on the photo, it has to be added using photo editing software. The most widely used is Photoshop, but there are many others. Other suggestions will likely be made by the UHH family.

The link or the software?

Alternate link, if that's the problem. As for putting names on photos (which the question was) I know it does.

You can design a watermark in photoshop using brushes.

Search for watermark. (A signature is just a watermark that is not transparent)...

Two simple solutions (PS CC):
Digitize/scan your signature (do not use YOUR recorded signature but one that is 'art only').
- Make a brush out of the scan.
- Use the image as a layer that you resize and place anywhere (A brush is way easier).

I use both a brush in PS or a PNG image that I resize in a separate layer. I also have presets of different watermarks in LR that I created

If you open the picture you want to put your name on in Photos. Click on Extensions. Click on Markup. From there you can add your name and/or many other things.

Several ideas but they forgot the first step.
What editing program do you use? It works a bit different with each.
In LightRoom I add a watermark during the export.
In PhotoShop and Paint Shop Pro I just type it in using the "text" tool.

Remember all - putting your name or a watermark on a photo does nothing to protect your property. Each photo must have a copyright registration to have any protective (legal) value.

Check your camera's manual. There may be a menu in the camera that will allow you to type in your name and even a copyright symbol that will appear on each of your images.

My Canon has copyright info that is stored in the Exif data, but it does not appear on the image itself in any way that I am aware of at all.

Best,
