For the past 10 to 15 years, about half of my photoraphy is
subject matter for my watercolor paintings. The subject matter for my paintings are mostly limited to, parts (close-ups)
of old weather beaten, abandoned buildings. Orchid photos
and other flowers are favorites, and I do sell a few once in awhile.....Frank

I post some of my best ones on flickr and some other photo sharing sites.

I also make my own post cards and I have not bought a post card ever since I got my first computer. I make eBooks of my photography as I am an eclectic photographer. I have included a few examples but I have way to many subject matter to list.

The thought of a hard drive full of unseen photos just make me nuts! Why take photos if you don't see and share them?

Oh I absolutely agree! I have over 19,000 on my photo organizer program going back to the 1800's scanned from family photos.
My favorite thing to do is make digital hardcover albums printed by Creative Memories.

Pretty neat stuff! You might have something going there if you've got an encore number or two. That's got a lot of wow factor. That's the kind of thing being holed up in NW Arkansas will do to you. Your imagination will run wild on you.

You couldn't turn around without being force fed something - not much freedom of choice. All that was just too much for me.

Sorry - duplicate or wrong forum, whichever came first.

I send a POTD to family and friends every day. Our family is spread across the country and we've moved away from friends many times. It's an easy way to keep in touch. I tell them that no comments are expected - they should enjoy or block me, their choice!

Join a camera club and get involved with their competitions. Not only are they fun they are a great place to learn how this digital photography works. I had no clue when I started....and I started in underwater photography. That's' a whole different world, but I also have expanded in land and I just can't get enough of it.
A club is the answer to learning a lot.
