Picasa Replacement, continued

I just tried the Filehippo.com download, without success. I keep getting a "unable to download" message.

Another free program that I like very much is PhotoScape. I think it will do what you want if you want to try something different.

I have used this free program for many years and it is light years in front of a lot of the paid-for programs available. I also use Picasa for basic things then run them through photoscape..... it is really easy to learn and user friendly. Hope this helps you. Have fun.

Actually I downloaded it from Filehippo about a month ago. While it offered some add-on's (that's how Filehippo gets paid) I just unchecked the little boxes each time and ended up with just Picaso. Works fine. I am saddened to learn that it is no longer offered. GIMP would be my next choice but there is a learning curve involved that does take some time and effort. Well worth it, however.
