Thank you. My Oncologist told me Mon. there is nothing more they can do for my Melonoma cancer. It has taken a leg and is now attacking my lungs. Some of your info was helpful.

Oh, Wow. I am so sorry to hear that. Feel free to PM me if you need to talk with someone other than family or close friends. Sometimes just knowing there are people who care helps. I do.

got tickled at one of my girls the other day, she said "why don't you just run up
the credit cards, who are they going to collect from?"

2 years ago I suffered catastrophic injuries. I was at death's door and I knew it. Strangely a feeling of peace existed where I thought there would be panic. Obviously I didn't die but I have far less fear of it now.

death doesn't give me any great concern, but the process of getting there, now thats different.

your laugh for the day:
i woke up about an hour ago, tried to throw the blanket off but my right hand just trembled, couldn't even raise my arm. nothing on the whole right side worked. Just knew i had had a stroke in my sleep and needed help but the phone has been out for couple days and i can't drive a car even if i could drag myself to it.. Just as i resign myself to my dire straits i feel the tingling.......
Turns out i had slept on my arm and my leg was tangled in the blanket...so much for my drama for the day

It points out how strong the line is, the trigger point between accepting what will happen
to all of us and the desire to fight back against what is inevitable.
No matter how gracefully we accept what will happen,
our minds and bodies are going to go through some self induced stress.

I was amused that you started this topic and "What Happens When We Stop Putting People In Boxes"

in the same 24 hour period. At first glance, I thought they were on the same topic.
