A cold but sunny day today when i took this photo of a House Finch about 25-35 feet away.
I used 800mm. Hand held.
Canon 5Dsr - Canon 400 II DO f4 - Canon 2.0x III - 1/400 - f/10 - ISO @ 800.

Exquisitely sharp and detailed. I am curious as to how you are handling the CR-2 files that come from these new breed of Canon cameras? I am going to be making an addition of 7D mk2 and either 5DS or 5d mk4 and am looking at all the new hardware in computer and software to handle the new CR-2 files. Any info would be very welcome. You can PM so as not to clog the system. Thanks for sharing and any info you can provide.
Fantastic photo! Your camera and lens setup does very well for you.

I do not deal with CR-2 files. I do not use the RAW format, only .JPG. I average 25 mb for a landscape. Since I only use a portion of my wildlife photo,
the photo averages less than 5 mb. So, I have no problems with large photo files. I have a very fast computer: Intel core i7-3770 cpu @ 3.4 GHz w/ 32 GB of Ram.
Thank you very much, RAK. Sorry I couldn't help you.
