Before something can "munch or chew" must one have teeth? I know that an eagle can "peck."

Nice , I was told by a nature shooter , when you work your photos in PP that your just bringing out what a eagle would see at about a quarter mile away if it was looking at another eagle , so that and the shape tells him it's a brother and not dinner , so by leaving it as is ,all your doing is handy capping your your own eye sight from seeing all what is there , the object is bringing out all what's there , if we had eyesight like a eagle has , we may just see what is there with out coaxing it out of the feathers , its like we are blind compared to a lot nature's keen eyed subjects , a lot of people think it's a crime to PP , but your not changing any thing that's not there all ready , just making it stand out , but adding things that are not in the pic , that would changing it , like more clouds , or trees etc , but if it's not in the picture to begin with your SOL, If It's THERE bring it out , put on your eagle eyes

As you said, I don't make any major changes to my photos, except to bring out the details. The backgrounds remain the same. No changes to the clouds, trees, etc. No additions to my photos. I do a lot of composition.
I simply try to make my photos look a little more professional looking without any major changes.

Thank you very much, IBM, for your good comment.
