Good capture. I am one of the few people in my area that enjoys the cicada sounds ...my friends find it annoying ...To each his own.

I like the sounds, usually. There have been years, however, when they were so loud it was almost deafening.

Nice shots. It does amaze me that something that small can make as much noise as they do. Crickets must be jealous!

Thanks for sharing your photos. I hear these noisy little buggers all the time but have never been able to locate them. (Probably cuz my hearing aids don't let me zero in on where exactly the noise is coming from!)
