Hi StarvingArtist. Firstly I apologise if I have confused you, but no there is no 2 picture wizardry going on, it was a single shot taken on a gloomy day to which I have added nothing and only taken away a person starting to appear for the lefthand side. I have enhanced only what was there to satisfy my imagination, I refer to its photo-art, and is nothing different from what I have been doing in digital photography since its inception and for some 30 or more years before that in the dark room. Like most photographers I do use photoshop to its fullest extent as I did an enlarger and chemicals in days past. What I do do and have always done is visualise picture when I take a photo, I know pretty much how I want it to finish up, and as its not my profession I don't have to bow down to popular whims, fashion or saleability, I just do what I want and Im happy if a few people find it pleasing. I do thank you for your interest in my pictures and hope I have answers a few of your questions,

Thanks Racmanaz, Portwenn or Port Issac as it is in real life is about 250 miles west of here, but I agree there is a similarity.

Right out of Harry Potter ... encompasses light .. shadow .. form .., in a balanced proportion that makes one want to visit the scene in person ...
