Hello --- I have this exact lens that I too was just about to part with as I now have an f2, 200mm that I find suits my needs better.

Yes I took that lens to SouthAfrica - much admired and I did get some good pictures - shall go again this year but this time it will be sitting on a Canon 5D Mark II. I shall also take the 7D with a 100mm macro in case I have to say gday to a black mamba.
Somebody was moaning about a Cine 28-300 without IS and with a price tag of $100. Either there is one 0 lost off the price or it has been stolen. Prices at the moment are $3300 and down to $2400 which I remember was my price but used I should get him down to $1800 - good luck - I shall not part with mine
