Hello all,
I am new to this forum but not new to photography. I started in film photography with a Nikon F and a Luna pro light meter. Back then I shot a lot of B&W using Tri-X film and D-76. When I started shooting color film I started using Kodachrome and other slide films. What got me into digital photography was getting poor results from labs. One lab actually ruined my film by exposing it to light. That made me want to get labs out of the picture. Digital photography worked for me.
This old film stories sounds familiar. Digital is so much easier and not nearly as messy. Welcome to UHH and just jump right in.
Welcome. You will enjoy this site. Looking forward to seeing some of your pictures. Happy shooting!
Welcome. I started with a Nikon F also and black and white and had a Luna pro light meter. I liked Agfa Gaevert Black and White Film with Rodinal developer. When my favorite film, developer and double weight enlarging paper was discontinued and my favorite Kodachrome, I switched to Digital.

Welcome, I did Miranda cameras, Plus X or Panatomic X, a different Kodak developer 9forget name0 moved to a FR developer and finally to an Edwal, always looking for finer grain, color was Agfa chrome, then Sakura color for 35mm, Kodak when getting paid, Vericolor on the 645. Enjoy the Hog, Bob.
Welcome to the forum.
