I bought a Pelican SD case on Amazon and use it when I travel, otherwise I store them in their original plastic containers and put those in a drawer where I keep other photo related equipment.

I've been using the following card holders for the past few years and love them. Cards simply click in and out easily. Not as much protection as other holders, but these are extremely thin and convenient. I slip these into the zippered pockets of my camera bag and they're always easy to find. If I'm worried about dirt, I just slip them into a small snack-size ziplock bag. Not sure about ESD potential, but I've never had an issue. They also come in multiple colors which can help keep things organized. The microSD size is particularly handy since those little buggers are so easy to lose. In case the link doesn't work, they're made by SDcardholder.com

Reading a lot of posts where this gets mentioned in passing. I like to use the plastic wallet the cards come in - if they have one. Lately is seems they don't. The tiny, tiny micro cards are too small to just drop in the bag. I have looked at the offerings at Adorama and come away unimpressed. Usually too bulky and hold too few cards maybe 6 and that is dived between SD and micro.

There has got to be a solution out there but I can't think of it. I know someone here has solved this problem. Tupperware?

ESD should not be a problem for SD cards, though we should technically talk about their susceptibility.
An SD card would not withstand a lightning bolt! We should therefore take sensible precautions. Bear in mind that ESD is much more of an issue in very cold conditions (no moisture in the air, and therefore increased electrical resistance). Remember for ESD damage you don’t need to make contact. Electricity will jump! You can generate around 10,000 volts walking on a carpet. SD cards are designed with suitable protection for normal use.
Personally I use a pocket sized water tight SD card holder from eBay with 2 spare 128GB cards, though with 2x 128GB cards in the camera, I never really need them. I find it reassuring to have a couple of spare cards, and find the eBay waterproof case perfect for the job.

How about not carrying them and purchase a size that sufficient for a couple of days shoot like 128GB?

They stay in camera do not bother anyone, the ideal solution. If you have two slots you can have 256GB storage!!!

I agree with Rongnongno. You should be using a card that is capable of taking advantage of all of the power of your camera and these cards usually are more expensive. I can't imagine having a fist full of cards that cost a lot. I only have two large capacity cards which are the best that I could buy and they both stay in the camera at all times. I have the camera set so that one card saves RAW and the other saves JPEG so even in the unlikely event that one card goes bad, I still have my pictures and I never have run out of capacity. I download my card to the computer after every shoot and reformat the cards in the camera. I have no need to carry extra cards and worry about how to store them.

I use one of these. They make them for CF and SD cards. I have one of each.

The sort of tin container used by Altoid peppermints works quite well (after a careful wash and thorough drying).

If in their protective, plastic cases.

I use a small "Pelican" case, made to hold 12 SD cards.

I use three Pelican and a similar Ruggard case for both Compact Flash and SD memory cards. The case I have for SD holds twelve cards.... and since I use 32 GB SD cards that each accommodate 1000 images apiece, that means the case full of cards might accommodate up to 12,000 images. Not likely to shoot that many in a day, but I'll never say "never"! (Most I can recall ever shooting in a single day is 5000, but it's usually more like 1500.)

These cases keep me organized. Cards that are ready to use have their front label up... those that are full of images are face down.

These cases also are fully sealed and will float, should that ever be a concern.

I also have a Think Tank memory card "roll up, wallet" that someone gave me. It folds or rolls to be fairly compact, is held closed with Velcro, has a wrist strap or belt loop, and provides eight slots sized for CF and three for SD memory (of course the smaller SD can fit in either). I use it for a handful of older, smaller, slower memory cards.... sort of "backups" or "loaners", if needed.

Finally, I've got a couple little "zipper pouches", each of which can accommodate a couple CF or maybe three SD cards. They are small and have a little loop that allows them to be attached to a camera strap. They're nice to have when just walking around and only needing one or two extra cards.

I don't use the little individual plastic cases the memory cards came in... Although for some reason I keep them!

I've bought a couple of little plastic boxes with slide-in pages for eight sdcards (Not micro) I think I paid $3. apiece with free shipping on eBay. I also sent my grandson on a 3-6 month jaunt through SE Asia with something I bought from Adorama that is plastic, but heavy duty and water-resistant. (Again, not micros)

And I can't imagine NOT having a fist full of memory cards.

To each his own, but I learned early on to NEVER put all my digital "eggs" in one gigantic "basket". If anything happens... a card fails, or it's forgotten in a pocket and goes through the laundry, or it just gets lost, whatever... I won't want to lose an entire day or week's work!

I mostly use cards that will hold roughly 250 to 500 RAW images (I have a few that will handle 1000): currently that's fifteen Compact Flash and half a dozen SD cards. It's rare, but at some events I've filled most of them.

Besides, all cameras have "speed limits". Beyond a certain point, there's nothing gained by buying a "better" memory card! The only way you might ever get full benefit buying a card that's faster than your camera can utilize, is when you upgrade to a newer camera that can... or possibly if the card makes for faster downloads.

Try this case made by Pelican; it's water proof and about the size of a cell in a protective case. They just came out with another one for about $7 more; not sure what more it has.
