3/132 of a 7 minute birdfight. The IQ may not be the best. Shot at 1/500 when it should have been at 1/1000, but at least I got them.

That's a good catch. They are so fast when they do stuff like that you can barley track them with a naked eye let alone a camera.

Nice. They seem to be the Chihuahuas of the avian world. Don;t seem to know or care how small they are.

Small is relative. To each other they're equal, and with their speed and agility I don't imagine they give other birds a second thought. I can't think of any other wild species that can be so quick to cozy up to humans. Give them a routine feeding time and they'll practically sit on your shoulder if you're late with it. But, I agree they have the temperament of a Chihuahua. Those little guys seem ready to take on dogs that could eat them in two bites.

Nice pictures, they are so tough to catch just right. I spent the month of July 2061 shooting hummings birds on my back deck. It took a lot of experimenting. Getting proper light was my problem. You did a nice job

Thank you for the compliment. My photos of birds increased the keeper rate, probably 100%, by using a flash extender on a speed-light.
