A very sensible take on the problem . As print quality defines the ultimate image capability of a camera system I would like to see some discussion on ; is there any visible difference in quality between prints made from full frame and micro4/3 cameras at a gallery size of 16 by 20 inches ?; or put another way , at what size prints do image quality differences between the two systems, at any given aperture and shutter speed, become apparent ?

That's an excellent point, Galahad. It's something I bring up to people who are bragging about the image quality of their cell phones. Let's make a 16x20 print and see how it looks.
