No but it would have been nice if average folks could get a safe return on their savings, instead many moved into unfamiliar territory and invested in the stock market which is basically gambling. That is when Wall Street rejoiced.

Obama had everything to do with it. A quiet predictable financial ecosystem is what the stock market wants to see. The malignant bubble we are seeing right now is going to pop* bigly.

You're an idiot if you really believe that the stock market being up had anything to do with president Obama, in fact just on the news of Trump's election and the end to Obama's policies and the democrat's demonization of business the market has increased about 2000 points.... For the rest of the crap you are spewing if you don't understand the mendacity inherent in the way in which the employment numbers are calculated, well then maybe you should not be allowed to vote. I will say one thing for Obama, he has done more to grow income inequality than has any president during my lifetime, that may end up being his largest achievement.

LOL.... Obama's malignant bubble will pop first as interest rates normalize sending stocks down and adding pressure to federal budgets, I am sure that you will blame it on Trump, but the fact is that the stock market has been built up much like a house of cards, and once investors have a safe alternative to the stock market that offers a reasonable return you will see a market correction... Obama had nothing to do with the rise of the stock market, what you said sounds nice but it doesn't mean crap, it was all about the FED during his 8 years in office.

I am not sure it has been a nightmare for all those employed now who weren't employed before, all those who have health insurance who had no health insurance before, .........I have also had to deal most of my career with people who could not get insurance because of pre-existing conditions and who could not afford their medications needed to keep them alive. And while "Obamacare" has flaws it at least is an effort and an acknowledgement that all of our fellow citizens should be able to have access to good health care.

That all sounds lovely, but when Obama claims he added 20 million people to health insurance -- it is all smoke and mirrors.

Read and examine the real numbers -- they are SHOCKING.

"The researchers found that just over 14 million people gained coverage from the end of 2013 to the end of 2015. Of those 14 million, 11.8 million gained their insurance through Medicaid and 2.2 million through private coverage."

http://dailysignal.com/2016/12/09/its-not-true-obamacare-insures-20-million-here-are-the-real-numbers/?utm_source=TDS_Email&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=Top5&mkt_tok=eyJpIjoiT1RRM01HVmlaVGhoT1dOaiIsInQiOiJrNXAySUl6MDFNNm14Zk03VFUzTlZjd0VOSEpRVVpcL0hlZTNsSjJzckFKRE5XNnEyVUdOTEhaZGZCMWw2Z3lHalNzcHJGM1N5UUJ5NXg4WkFBXC9hZG9iKzMyVzFJb1ZwQlg1eFJ0WXlOSXN5NTluYTNUTkJBdzJackpnKzV4cFlwIn0%3D

All he was able to really do was to greatly expand the Medicaid rolls. THAT was never the intent of the so-called Affordable Care Act. Just as with food stamps and welfare, and reducing the work force, he has turned this country into a welfare state.

Yeah that Obama was a real problem. What with the Stock Market up, Unemployment down, Economy thriving. We need to end that shit. Don't worry Trump will.

Trump forced up the market, Obama didn't have anything to do with it. Fake employment numbers and fake news is the mark of Obama. Families are making less than when your
half breed POS came aboard. Here is a wonderful tributes to low life, left wing libtards. http://eheadlines.com/hilarious-trump-christmas-parody-its-the-most-wonderful-time-in-8-years/

NAKKH is a very old Indian word that was common among all the American tribes meaning: DOG WHO LICKS OWN BUTT.
Times a tickin' when Nak Nak is lickin'.

The 'bigly' pop is going to be your back end from holding in all that 8 years of 'BAMA" BS.

Spoken like someone who has no clue how the market's behaved over the past eight years.
Guess when someone talks about the 'market" you think of a place you buy your beer.

The stock market has seemed to do OK since Trump was elected, but I am sure that when it goes up under Trump, that is bad, when it goes up under Obama, that is wonderful.

Based on previous comments...I was wondering if it works the other way as well?

Under Trump, if the market goes up, that's good but when it went up under Obama, that was bad?

No, when it went up under Obama, the fed was the entity pushing the trend.
