Pretty good.

Number two may win the prize. Have you thought about getting a new lens??

Maybe. Thanks. 3 is my favorite. DOF is slightly off on the wren and the Cardinal was too far away to get the detail I prefer.

Actually, the last one is a real winner! Are you going to use a TC with the 70-200 at some point or just haul out the big one?

Nah. I don't like teleconverters. I'll stick with the 150-600 for most shots at a distance. However, here is a shot taken with that lens.

Nah. I don't like converters. Guess I'll stick with the 150-600 for distant shots. I have included a shot taken with the 70-200. Not too shabby I think.

Yeah, I don't get the same sharpness with the 1.4,but I bought it for the 200-500 or 80-400. Been quite a while since I've used it. Time to clean house. Your big lens appears to be a very good tool as well!

I think all are very nice shots. Love the bright color. For me it is number 3. "Don't Mess With Me". You mentioned the 150-600 lens, which one did you use? I am contemplating one.

Thank you very much. These (except bottom shot) were shot with the Tamron 150-600 version 1. I also use the Sigma 150-600 Contemporary.

Thanks. If you could only have one which one would it be?

That's tough. I think perhaps the Sigma. I like it's color and contrast a little better and it seems to hunt a little less. Also you can update the firmware with the optional dock. For me it's a virtual tie and I could be happy with either. They were running a special on the Tamron at under $800 I believe. At that price it would be a no-brainer for me.
